Hiya! I'm looking to add some of the writing practice review types to my (vocabulary) deck. It seems like I can't use the review type without displaying the kanji, and I want to review without getting a hint as to what the kanji look like. Is there a way I can do that with Vocab decks?
I'd like to write the vocabulary word based on just the English definition and the hiragana reading. Is this possible?
It's been a while since I looked at the writing system - do you mind tossing a few screenshots of how it's appearing for you now, so I can better see what it is you'd like added?

Hello! So, the first screenshot is from one of my Kanji decks, and I LOVE this format. It gives me the reading and definition of a single kanji and I need to draw it. The settings allow me to not have any hints and I draw from memory.

However, in my Vocab decks the options aren't quite as perfect. The best I can do is have the kanji appear but fade away, and the kanji is always displayed at the top anyway. I'd love to just have the reading and meaning of a word and have to write the kanji but the settings do not let me get rid of the hints.

This is also what I requested in

But maybe Emmy can describe it a bit better than I did.
Another way to describe it would be to have Mode 4 of the Quick Draw game for each kanji in the vocab:

Yes! Just seeing the reading/meaning of either the individual kanji or the vocab word as a whole.
I want to, for example, be given: "Problem, question; もんだい" and I have to write "問題".
At the moment there's no way to do it, it gives me a kanji spoiler on vocab questions :(
Got it, thanks! This is not something I can do at the moment, but I'll keep it in mind. I believe that when I first made it, I believe I was trying to strike a balance between making it not-too-challenging to figure out the word. With kanji, the hints given make it relatively easy to isolate the one kanji, but with words, there is often more words that could match the English hints (without kana), and so I believe I had that in mind when showing the kanji.
