Grammar usage notes

から~にかけて and から~まで are very easy to confuse.

から~にかけて is used to describe a range of time or space with a vague beginning and vague ending:
からにかけて

から~まで is used to describe a range of time or space with a definite beginning and definite ending:
9から12まで

This grammar specifically applies to either time or location.

The grammar used in that sentence is てから/after doing X (which uses the te-form) combined with まで/until (which uses the dictionary form):

Another example would be: まれてからぬまで = after being born and until you die, AKA womb-to-tomb
