Discussion about this grammar

In the "Construction" section above it is written for なadjective:
A+の+はず+だ
But なadjectives are used in this case with な, not with の. It should be like this:
A+な+はず+だ

And another small typo - there's one extra plus in the verb construction:
A++はず+だ
Just thought I should let you know:-)

For some reason this is showing up as はすだ on the main grammar page and on the pull-down on the upper right of this page.

Thanks. Is it just me or is there a space on はずだ in the header of this page?

Yup. It's like that on all the pages, because the beta actually writes out the title as a list of words (to allow for furigana). Unfortunately, I am unable to figure out a way to make those spaces disappear, but they are not technically incorrect, since はず and だ are two separate terms.

Yep, fixing it. Thanks! If it's easier, you can hit the 'Is the English/Japanese wrong?' link and submit a fix that way as well.

I don't understand the nuance. What does はず mean? An advice? assumption? Could someone explain it please?

I think it is easier to think of it more as an assumption by the speaker that the statement is what they believe should/will happen/be.
