Questions/Discussion
Is it ok to use になります instead of になる?
なる is the casual/dictionary form of the verb. なります is the -masu stem form of the verb and absolutely can be used
I remember from Uni that the と conditional form was mostly used for mechanical cause/effect contexts. Is this always the case? Is the fact that's it's being used here a sort of emphasis about this conseguence occurring without fail (perhaps a humoristic touch)?
Many thanks!
