Though I am not entirely certain, I believe that the model sentence for meaning #1 may be more appropriate for meaning #2...

what about でも as 'however'?

I'm thinking - is there another way to use it as 'however' except in front of a clause or sentence? It can't really be used as a suffix to anything, can it?

Isn't number 2 just the conditional form? I think it could just be grouped with ても・でも under conditional and removed from here.

About what mysticfive said, what about : き、でもえない

No...although one example sentence belongs on the other page. This form of it is not an 'even if', but rather 'even so much/so far as ..', showing an extent/extreme.
